Holiday Class Gift for Ms. Binns

Dear Families of Ms. Binns’ Class,

Happy Holidays! As classroom parent, I am helping to organize the optional class gift for Ms. Binns (delivering a holiday basket of items/gift cards to her the week before the holiday break).

If you’d like to contribute a monetary donation you can do so in one of three ways:

  • Cash – I can collect this before the start of school at drop-off OR you can return in an envelope that I will provide in student folders within the next week.
  • Check – you can make payable to “Kimberly Salley”
  • Venmo – @KimmySalley

If there are other non-monetary contributions you’d prefer to make for the gift basket, please feel free to reach out to me and we can coordinate. I kindly ask that any donation to the collective class gift basket be made by next Friday, December 13.

Thanks in advance for helping to show Ms. Binns how much we AND our students appreciate her.

Room Parent & Special Upcoming Events

Hi Everyone,

I am Kimmy Salley, Jimmy Johnson's mom, and I will be the room parent for Miss Binns’ classroom this year. Thank you for registering for the Membership Toolkit--this is the only way I will have access to send messages directly to classroom families. If a parent mentions they did not receive a message from me, please have them check to see if they are signed-up on the toolkit.

Below are a few upcoming reminders:

Ms. Binns' class is scheduled to attend the Scholastic Book Fair on Tuesday, October 15th at 10:30am! If you have some time to help at the Book Fair, either during our class time, with the set-up next Thursday, October 10th after school, or with breakdown on Friday, October 18th after school, please sign-up through the Sign-Up Genius: Book Fair Volunteer Sign-Up

The next PTO Meeting: will be on Tuesday, October 22nd at 7pm in the Killam Media Room. Come to learn about upcoming events and how you can support Killam.

Thank you and hope you all have a wonderful year,

Kimmy Salley

P.S. Please note: All volunteers need to have a current CORI on file (good for 3 years). Please stop by the main office this week to complete the form if you have not done so already and be sure to bring your license.
