We’d like to get Ms Binns a gift from the class for the holidays. 

If you’d like to contribute, please venmo @Nick-Sampson-1 (last 4 : 4534). If you could include “Binns gift” in the comments that would be helpful. 

In the past, parents / guardians have typically contributed $10-20 but please feel free to do any amount you are comfortable with. 

We’re hoping to have all contributions in by Monday December 15th so we have time to put everything together and give it to Ms Binns before the holiday break.

Hi - should have added this to the original message from this morning. 

Ms Binns class is scheduled the visit the book fair on Weds 10/15 from 10:00-10:30. Adults are welcome to meet their child in the library to go book shopping during this time. 

Hi everyone - my name is Billy Sheehan and, together with Nick Sampson, we'll be the room parents for Ms Binns 2nd grade class this year.  

We'll be responsible for communicating key dates between the class and PTO, coordinating classroom teacher gifts, and working with Ms Binns on any specific requests she may have (volunteers, classroom supplies, etc) 

Couple things to get started - 

1) Register for Membership Toolkit ; this is the only system room parents can use to communicate with the class so we're hoping to get as many families signed up as possible. This also provides everyone with a directory for coordinating out of school activities (i.e., birthday parties).  Instructions are attached. 

2) We encourage everyone to attend a PTO meeting if possible.  Meetings are monthly and we will communicate the dates as soon as we get them.  The next meeting is Tuesday 10/21 @ 7pm in the Killam library.
