I hope everyone is doing well! I am forwarding this message from Jamie Santos, Amy Mahoney, and Kimmy Salley who are organizing movie nights.

We are excited to announce that the Kindergarten and First Grade classes will be hosting our first of three Killam Movie Nights this school year on Wednesday, December 11 (likely starting at 6:30PM). 

This is open to the entire school, we are just looking for volunteers from these grades to help make this a successful first event. 

How you can help

Hello Everyone,

I am Cristina Crespo (Kilyan's mom) and I will be the room parent for Ms. Wheaton's classroom this year. I know I have met some of you and your kids, but if you ever see me please feel free to say hi or ask any questions that I can help with! 

I wanted to keep you informed of a few activities and reminders as we start the school year. Please reference to the email from Vanessa Curry (sent 10/9) for more information and links to the events below. 

1. Register for Membership Toolkit: If you haven’t already registered or are aware of families that are missing information, let them know about Membership Toolkit. Registering is essential to receiving important information from the PTO and automatically provides everyone with a class directory! Please see attached flyer for instructions on how to sign up.
2. Attend a PTO Meeting: Attend a PTO meeting to learn about upcoming events and how you can support Killam. Our next meeting is 10/22 at 7pm in the Killam media room. 
3. Ms. Wheaton's class will attend the Book Fair tomorrow 10/16 at 9:30am.
4. The Connor Farm Family Fun Event is this Friday 10/18. If you purchased tickets please see the email from Vanessa Curry for instructions to pick the tickets up.
5. Friday 10/18 is Walk to School Day.
6. The Calareso Bucks fundraiser runs until Friday 10/18.
7. Trunk or Treat is Sunday 10/27 from 2-4pm.

Dear Parents and Families,

The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Killam Tuesday October 15th through Friday October 18th (with evening hours until 6pm on Wednesday October 16th)!   

Ms. Wheaton's class is scheduled to attend on Wednesday October 16 at 9:30am.

Volunteers are needed to help make our Book Fair a success!  We need adults to help the students find the perfect book and to offer a helping hand.  If you've ever wanted to work in a bookstore, now's your chance!  

If you have some time to help at the Book Fair, either during our class time, with the set-up next Thursday October 10th after school, or with breakdown on Friday October 18th after school, please sign-up through the Sign-Up Genius:  Book Fair Volunteer Sign-Up

Please note: All volunteers need to have a current CORI on file (good for 3 years). Please stop by the main office this week to complete the form if you have not done so already.
