Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week - Pegoraro (1st Grade)
Good Evening Everyone,
We are getting ready for Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week and we are going to ask the teachers and staff to Kick Back and Relax for a little bit.
We have a great week planned for the teachers the week of April 28th.
Monday: Restock the teachers lounge with the teachers favorite snacks and supplies to get them through the rest of the year. (The Wishlist will close on April 16th)
Tuesday: Breakfast/Coffee Station
Wednesday: Lunch at Cafe Killam
Thursday: Chair Massages
Friday: Ice Cream Social
There are many ways to support our amazing teachers.
Please feel free to donate via the Amazon Wishlist.
You can give the gift of time by signing up to cover a classroom on Wednesday (12:40 to 2:00 pm) or Thursday. Please note if you volunteer to cover the class on Thursday, you may not be with your child.
There are still 2 spots open for Mrs. Pegoraro's room for Wednesday 12:40pm-2pm.
You can donate by venmoing us to help defray some of the costs associated with the week. Please put “Teacher Appreciation”

Good Morning Everyone,
Thank you to all who donated towards Mrs. Pegoraro's gift. We were able to get Mrs. Pegoraro an Amazon gift card ($100) as well as a TJ Maxx gift card ($100.) We also put together a really fun teacher basket filled with chocolates, markers, erasers, red pens and so much more.
Here are a few pictures of the gift for everyone to see. We will be dropping it off today around 11:00am.

Community - Pegoraro, Christen (1st Grade): Class Holiday Gift
Good Morning Everyone,
With the holidays just around the corner, we would like to get Mrs. Pegoraro a gift from the class. We will be taking up a collection if you are interested in participating. In the past, parents/guardians have generally contributed $10, but please feel free to do any amount you are comfortable with.
Contributions can be sent directly to the Venmo account @Vicki-Brown-23, please include your child's name and "teacher's gift" in the comment section.

Volunteers needed for Movie Night at Killam!!!
Dear Members of Mrs. Pegoraro's Classroom,
We hope you are doing well.
We are excited to announce that the Kindergarten and First Grade classes will be hosting our first of three Killam Movie Nights this school year on Wednesday, December 11 (likely starting at 6:30PM).
This is open to the entire school, we are just looking for volunteers from these grades to help make this a successful first event.

Scholastic Book Fair @ Killiam Tuesday October 15th 11am
Dear Parents and Families,
The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Killam from Tuesday, October 15th through Friday, October 18th (with evening hours until 6pm on Wednesday, October 16th)!
Mrs. Pegoraro's class is scheduled to attend on Tuesday, October 15th at 11:00am.
Volunteers are needed to help make our Book Fair a success! We need adults to help the students find the perfect book and to offer a helping hand. If you've ever wanted to work in a bookstore, now's your chance!
If you have some time to help at the Book Fair, either during our class time, with the set-up next Thursday, October 10th after school, or with breakdown on Friday, October 18th after school, please sign-up through the Sign-Up Genius: Book Fair Volunteer Sign-Up

Killam 1st grade Girl Scouts
Hi parents,
This is Cristina, Leyre's mom. I signed her up for the Killam 1st grade girl scouts. They meet once a month on Sunday afternoons, I thought it can be a fun bonding experience for her. Please see attached the flyer in case you are interested in joining, they do have availability.
