Community - McGuire, Tonia (4th Grade): Class Holiday Gift

Good Morning Everyone,

Thank you to all who donated towards Mrs. McGuire's gift.  We were able to get Mrs. McGuire an Amazon gift card ($100) as well as a Whitelam gift card ($100.) We also put together a really fun teacher basket filled with chocolates, markers, erasers, red pens and so much more.  We would also like to thank Samantha Spina for making an apple pie scented candle to add with the gfit.

Here are a few pictures of the gift for everyone to see.  Ellen Brogan and I will be dropping it off today around 11:30am.

We should also mention that we got Ms. Abby, our student teacher, a little something as well which was a gift card to Starbucks ($25.)

Thank you,
Vicki and Ellen
Community - McGuire, Tonia (4th Grade): Class Holiday Gift

Hi Everyone,

We forgot to mention that we would like to give Mrs. McGuire her gift on Thursday December 19th.  If all contributions can be in by Monday December 16th, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Community - McGuire, Tonia (4th Grade): Class Holiday Gift

Good Morning Everyone,

With the holidays just around the corner, we would like to get Mrs. McGuire a gift from the class. We will be taking up a collection if you are interested in participating.  In the past, parents/guardians have generally contributed $10 to $15, but please feel free to do any amount you are comfortable with.

Contributions can be sent directly to the Venmo account @Ellen-Brogan-1, please include your child's name and "teacher's gift" in the comment section.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you,
Ellen Brogan and Vicki Brown
Scholastic Book Fair Killam Thursday October 17th at 11:00am

Dear Parents and Families,

The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Killam from Tuesday, October 15th through Friday, October 18th (with evening hours until 6pm on Wednesday, October 16th)!

Ms. McGuire's class is scheduled to attend on Thursday October 17th at 11:00am.

Volunteers are needed to help make our Book Fair a success!  We need adults to help the students find the perfect book and to offer a helping hand.  If you've ever wanted to work in a bookstore, now's your chance!

If you have some time to help at the Book Fair, either during our class time, with the set-up next Thursday, October 10th after school, or with breakdown on Friday, October 18th after school, please sign-up through the Sign-Up Genius:  Book Fair Volunteer Sign-Up

Please note: All volunteers need to have a current CORI on file (good for 3 years). Please stop by the main office this week to complete the form if you have not done so already.

Thank you so much for your support!

Vicki Brown
