Thank you- holiday teacher gifts
Thank you to all who were able to contribute to the holiday teacher’s gifts for Ms Cannata and Ms Albrecht. Attached are pictures of all of the goodies included in the reusable tote bag prior to packaging and after.
The tote bags are stuffed with gift cards to two book stores (Whitelam and Love Struck books), an Amazon gift card. Supplementary items to help kick off a relaxing break (cozy socks, warming neck wraps, eye masks, “favorite teacher candle”, pedicure in a box, at home facial, teas and more). Since both love Diet Coke they will also be receiving a giant box of Diet Coke with a bow on top as a funny gag gift.
The card is signed from the entire class.
Thank you all for helping make this possible and for making the process so seamless.
We hope all families have a joyful holiday season!
warmly

Movie Night
Hi everyone,
I wanted to pass along a note from the PTO — they’re hosting a fun Movie Night featuring The Grinch on Thursday, December 18th from 6:00–8:00 PM in the Killam cafeteria.
They’re looking for a few volunteers to help the evening run smoothly. If you’re able to lend a hand, here’s what they need:
-
3–4 volunteers for setup starting at 5:30 PM
-
3–4 volunteers for cleanup after the movie until about 8:30–8:45 PM
-
(You’re welcome to sign up for both if you’d like!)

Thanks so much, and please reach out if you have any questions!

Book Fair Volunteers
Hi everyone,
Sending my first room parent email to you through the portal. If you hear of another class parent who didn’t receive this, feel free to give them my email address (davidinctown@gmail.com) so I can help them sign up.
I’m reaching out to encourage you to volunteer during Ms. Cannata’s class’s time slot at the upcoming Book Fair. It is
Wednesday, 10/15 from 9:00-9:30am. The Book Fair is a PTO fundraiser where kids who bring in money can shop. In Kindergarten, students often need help understanding what they can buy with the funds they have so extra adults are very helpful. There are 10 sign up slots but we’re hoping to get to at least 5 volunteers. If you can help, please sign up here:

Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Dave
