Hi Everyone,

Thank you to all who were able to participate in the class gift for Ms. Rice and Mrs. Frechette. Attached is a picture of what we have compiled, based on their "favorite things" list. Ms. Rice is receiving a Cuisinart Juicer (courtesy of a parent who works for the company!), paper and water color markers (she likes to paint in her free time); as well as gift cards to some of her fave places: HomeGoods, REI, and Chik-fil-A.... as well as some of her favorite snacks (popcorn and pretzels). 

Mrs. Frechette received honey and tea (her favorite beverage), as well as gift cards to her fave places: Marshall's and REI. 

We will present these items to the teachers tomorrow morning (12/17) at drop-off. If any of your kiddos would like to hand in a holiday card, or add it to the packaging, by all means. 

Stanley and I will try to be across the street by 8:08 tomorrow.

1. Update! Thank you to those who reached out asking if we should also get something for Mrs. Frechette :) we absolutely should and apologies for the oversight! We will put together two gift baskets. 
2. Friendly reminder that if you’d like to contribute, here are the ways to do so:
1. Cash: Drop off with Kimmy or Julia before school OR return in the envelope sent home on 11/25.
2. Check: Payable to Kimberly Salley and return in the envelope sent home on 11/25.

If you’d prefer to contribute non-monetary items for the basket, please reach out to us and we’ll coordinate.
Deadline for contributions: this Friday, December 12.

Also, if your student would like to make a personalized holiday card for Ms. Rice and Mrs. Frechette, please include it in the envelope sent home on 11/25—we’ll decorate the basket with these cards! 😊

Hi again! We have a few important updates to share:

1. Thanksgiving Photo Collage
   We have a last-minute request! Please send a quick photo of your student holding a sign that says “I’m thankful for Ms. Rice!” (or something similar) to kimberlysalley@gmail.com by 8PM on Wednesday, November 26.
   It doesn’t need to be fancy—just a simple photo will do! We’ll create a collage and share it with Ms. Rice on Thanksgiving.

My name is Julia and I’m Gemma’s mom—nice to connect! Kimmy (Stanley’s mom) and I are reaching out with an update and ask from the PTO:

The PTO is hosting a fun Movie Night (The Grinch) in the Killam cafeteria on Wednesday, December 18, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and they’re looking for a few volunteers to help make the evening a success.

They need:

• 3–4 volunteers to help with setup starting at 5:30 PM
• 3–4 volunteers to help with cleanup after the movie, until about 8:30–8:45 PM
  (Anyone is welcome to sign up for both!)

Hello Everyone,

We, Kimmy Salley (Stanley’s mom) and Julia Travaglini (Gemma’s mom), are your Room Parents for the year.

We wanted to keep you informed of a few things as we start the school year.

1. Register for Membership Toolkit: This is the only system room parents can use to communicate with the class, so please sign up! Also, this is essential to receiving important information from the PTO and automatically provides everyone with a class directory. If you are aware of families that are missing information, let them know about Membership Toolkit. Please see attached flyer for instructions on how to sign up.
2. Attend a PTO Meeting: Learn about upcoming events and how you can support Killam. The next meeting is 10/21 at 7pm in the Killam library.
